My name is Bethany Klinker. I am the oldest of three girls. My sisters have blessed me with six nephews ranging in age from eleven years to twenty months. I was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. I have been a member of Saint Boniface parish all my life. I attended Lafayette public schools including Glen Acres Elementary, Sunnyside Junior High, and Jefferson High School. I was in all the bands (marching, pep and concert) in high school. I also participated in the creation of the high school yearbook. I went on to Ball State University in Muncie to gain my Education degree.
My teaching career began with substitute teaching in Tippecanoe County. I worked in all three corporations (TSC, LSC, and Lafayette Catholic) during my substitute teaching. My large collection of teaching supplies came from my many years working at Teachers’ Delight. I have been teaching at Sacred Heart for the last eighteen years. My original position was the sixth grade teacher (where I have returned). I spent several years teaching fourth grade as well.
